Introduction:

FEZ26 is a Windows 9x frontend for the DOS based Atari 2600 emulator 'Z26'.
How did I come up with the FEZ26? Am I a freak with a hat fetish, who is turned on by the very
Fez that graces the screen every time the frontend is loaded? No, actually the 'FE' in FEZ26
stands for 'Front End', and the 'Z26' stands for well, Z26 of course. FEZ26 allows you to perform
all of the command line switches in painless fashion, just simply click, or check the options
you would like and you're off.

Installation

To install FEZ26, simply unzip the fez26.zip archive into the directory where your 2600 roms and
the z26.exe reside.

Shortcut Keys

Esc - Exits FEZ26 (Why would you want to do that?), or Cancels entries and returns to the
      previous screen
F1 - About screen
F5 - Video Options
F6 - Performance Options
F7 - Paddle Options
F10 - Clears All options, setting them to a NULL value

Performance Test - When this is selected, Z26 runs in benchmark mode. The selected game will
run for the specified number of frames, and return a value to the screen
		   after the test has completed.

Paddle Setup Window

Enable Paddle - This option enables paddle emulation.
Paddle Speed - This is the speed at which the paddle will operate, between 1 and 15
Which Paddle - This option specifies which paddle to use, choose between 0 and 3, where 0 is
actually equal to the first paddle, 1 is equal to the second, etc...

Saving your options - Your options will be saved each time you run a game, if you quit before
running a game, your options will not be saved.

Thanks for downloading my frontend, and going through the trouble of reading this file (I tried
to keep it as short as possible). Please send comments and suggestions to spelosi@optonline.net
